Bob Scarborough (Yardbird)
Bob's one of the original QCrew members, riding his bike to work before he had a license! His old Q stories are myriad, interesting and usually funny... some gutbustingly so! From 1974-1977 Bob rocked at WKZQ then went to the sister station, WTGR-AM from '78-'81, THEN cranked it up at KZQ again from '86-'92! Bob's been an important part of South Carolina broadcasting for years.
The idea for QRock Radio really sprang from his organizing the reunion for all the past Grand Strand Broadcasting staff.
Now job number one is being a dad to his four great kids with his wife, Kristen. Bob's also very involved in the church and for years has worked to advance several ministries through broadcasting and countless hours of community service work. |
